Abstract
The extended tree-level model for the piN interaction leads to a succe ssful description of isospin violation effects observed in the p-wave piN scattering at the DELTA33 region. The corrections for the piN scat tering lengths including the rhoomega mixing effect are estimated too. The calculated ppi- --> ppi- scattering amplitude at threshold is fou nd to be in fair agreement with experiment.
