Abstract
Four structural-lithological complexes which correspond to the phases of the Baltic basin development are distinguished in the Quaternary de posits section of the Gulf of Finland. Hydrodynamic processes played t he main role in the formation of the most recent complex related to th e sea phase. The geological tracks of the near-bottom currents activit y represent now erosional-accumulative forms of the sea bottom.
