Abstract
Direct repair of the pars interarticularis defect in lumbar spondyloly sis had been performed on 12 patients (mean age 29 years). After an av erage follow-up period of 10 years, 10 patients had a good result, 1 f air but improved and 1 poor with unchanged complaints.
