Beta-coincident gamma-rays were measured from implanted 44V and Sc-42
nuclei. These were selected after Ni-58+nickel reactions by means of t
he LISE3 spectrometer at GANIL. The production of the isomeric states
was identified by detecting their typical beta-delayed gamma-rav casca
des. From the intensities of the detected gamma-tines the ratio betwee
n isomer and ground-state production of 44V follows to be t to 3.0(4).
