A TIME-SERIES APPROACH ON REVERBERATION OF LARGE ENCLOSURES

A new method based on Box-Jenkins time series models is proposed for t he description of the reverberation of large enclosures instead of rev erberation time. The calculations of the proposed statistical method a re based on measurements taken inside a room under the condition of co ntinuous excitation by a series of random noise events. The evaluation of the room's memory is an application of the method.
