L. Dalessandro et A. Ferrero, A METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE HYSTERESIS MODEL OF MAGNETIC-MATERIALS, IEEE transactions on instrumentation and measurement, 43(4), 1994, pp. 599-605
Many methods have been proposed for the determination of the hysteresi
s loops of magnetic materials, and many mathematical approaches have b
een proposed to find a good model for the hysteresis phenomenon. Howev
er, very few attempts have been made to determine the parameters of th
e hysteresis model experimentally. This paper will show how, starting
from a digital method for the experimental determination of the hyster
esis loop under different maximum induction values, the parameters of
a hysteresis model can be automatically estimated with good accuracy.
Due to its good behavior in terms of accuracy and to the comparative e
ase in determining its parameters, the Preisach model for rate-indepen
dent hysteresis phenomena was chosen. Experimental determination of th
e model and consequent hysteresis loop computation were carried out. A
n accuracy below 1% was attained over the peak induction range from 0.
49 T to 1.68 T and the frequency range from 50 Hz to 100 Hz.
