Abstract
A simple and inexpensive manufacturing procedure is developed for maki ng composite box beams for demonstration/teaching purposes in an under graduate materials engineering curriculum. The manufactured box beams are tested in bending to find the stress strain behavior as well as th e value of the Young's modulus. Results indicate that the manufactured composite box beams are of high quality.
