Abstract
From intensity of Auger transitions (1 s 2p)-1 1P, 3P --> 2p-3 2P, 2De(A)- relative to 1 s-1 2S --> 2p-2 1D + e(A)- measured at theta = 54 and 90-degrees relative to the primary electron beam we have determine d the alignment A20 of double vacancy states (1s 2p)-1 1P and 3P of ne on for electron impact ionization for the impact energies 1.5, 2.0, 2. 5 and 4.0 keV. For E0 = 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 keV the alignment A20 is comp atible with zero with an upper limit of \A20\ < 0.04(5), for E0 = 4.0 keV a small negative value A20 = -0.06(5) was found.
