Experimental investigations of the three-mirror open resonator with th
e dielectric prism converter were conducted. The spectrum and amplitud
e distributions of the resonance electromagnetic fields were studied i
n case of the semiconductor sample near the total internal reflection
facet and without it. It is shown that in such a system the high-quali
ty oscillations are excited and its spectral characteristics can be ch
anged due to mutual arrangement of the prism converter and open resona
tor mirrors. This electrodynamic system can be used to study physical
process in semiconductors with the help of magnetoplasma waves methods
