Abstract
A possibility is shown to restore the profile of the inhomogeneous mag netic field in the ferromagnetic film by means of characteristics of m agnetostatic waves which propagate in it. The problem is solved in gen eral form for one-dimensional inhomogeneity in case of the forward vol ume magnetostatic waves.
