Abstract
We report here the synthesis and characterisation of Dy2CaCuO5 compoun d. it crystallises in an orthorhombic cell with the lattice parameters a = 5.888(6) Angstrom, 6 = 7.211(9) Angstrom and c = 12.997(2) Angstr om.
