Abstract
This paper discusses the working principle and relevant mechanism of t he continuous four-roll bending process. Also, effect of its influenti al parameters, such as : the operating position of the side roll, the counter-bending moment due to the outstretching plate before inletting to and after exiting from the respective operative side roll, etc., o n the bending mechanism and the curvature of the plate in the effectiv e deformation zone are propounded.
