Abstract
Kinetics of thermal dehydroxylation of kaolinite clay mineral has been studied as a function of its surface area. The kinetic parameters hav e been correlated with the surface area and a mathematical relationshi p has been developed between the activation energy of dehydroxylation and the surface area of the clay.
