Abstract
The possibility of simultaneous acceleration of ions with different ch arge to mass ratio in a RFQ is considered. An analysis of the phase an d the radial stability regions is carried out. Ion beams with a wide s pectrum of specific charge are shown to be accelerated in a RFQ.
