Abstract
This paper deals with the electrical issues related to the NRC Generic Letter (GL) 89-10. In this paper a brief background along with the ba sic design requirement of Motor Operated Valves (MOV) are also present ed. Degraded voltage impact on the MOV's are discussed. Analytical and diagnostic techniques to study the degraded voltage issues are presen ted to resolve the issues raised in GL 89-10.
