We report a case with progressive mental deterioration and persistent
low grade fever. who was diagnosed to have cryptococcal meningitis. Th
is case is unique in that the cryptococcal latex agglutination antigen
test was consecutively negative. The diagnosis was made by sequential
CSF culture.
