Abstract
The problem of the propagation of vibration waves in an elastic coal-b earing rock is considered based on a model of a three-component hetero geneous medium. The effect of the parameters of the vibration on the w eakening of the rock mass and on the free and absorbed gas distributio n in the vicinity of a vibration well is estimated.
