Wj. Baker et al., MULTICENTRIC ANGIOFOLLICULAR LYMPH-NODE HYPERPLASIA AND ASSOCIATED CARCINOMA, Medical and pediatric oncology, 22(6), 1994, pp. 384-388
There is a well described association between multicentric angiofollic
ular hyperplasia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and/or Kaposi's sarcoma. T
wo cases of multifocal angiofollicular hyperplasia and associated carc
inomas and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are reported. We suggest that underl
ying immunological defects in patients with multicentric angiofollicul
ar hyperplasia make them susceptible to the development of carcinomas,
as well as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Kaposi's sarcoma. (C) 1994 Wile
