Abstract
Recent measurements of the penetration depth and optical conductivity ist YBa2Cu3Ox (YBGO) single crystals suggest the possibility of an ord er parameter with d+s-wave symmetry. We present results from calculati ons of both the anisotropic low temperature penetration depth and the frequency-dependent conductivity for a layered superconductor with suc h a pairing symmetry. The system is modelled as a stack of weakly coup led, two dimensional superconducting planes, and the effect of non-mag netic impurity scattering in both Born, and unitarity limits is examin ed.
