Abstract
This paper presents an example of the Standardized Performance Analysi s Program (SPA). Specifically, SPA analyses for a Flint Hills ranch in Kansas were used to show how data from 2 years could be used to evalu ate the production and financial performance of a beef cow herd. It sh ould be noted that this study took place over a 2-year period, and alt erations in factors could have perceivably changed the outcome.
