Results of electrical resistivity rho(T) measurements on (Cu3Pt)100-xM
nx alloys with 0.5, 1, 1.85, and 3 at. % Mn in the temperature range o
f 1.8-300 K are presented. For 0.5 and 1.0 at. % Mn alloys, rho(T) sho
ws a maximum at low temperature followed by a minimum at a higher temp
erature. For 1.85 and 3 at. % Mn alloys, both the minimum and maximum
in resistivity are washed out. The observed behavior seems to result f
rom the weak indirect Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuva-Yosida interaction respon
sible for spin glass behavior in these alloys.
