Abstract
Using a simple and well-known voltage-to-current transformation, curre nt-mode active RC filters that are amenable to IC realization can be d erived from their voltage-based counterparts. Using this transformatio n, a classification of current-based single-amplifier biquads is intro duced which is derived from a similar voltage-based classification. Th is classification is exhaustive in that it includes all possible curre nt-based single-amplifier biquads.
