Electrical conductivity, viscosity and density of KH2PO4 (KDP) aqueous
solutions have been measured as a function of concentration from 0.1
M up to saturation at temperatures of 25, 50 and 100-degrees-C. These
results are interpreted using as microscopic description of the soluti
on the information obtained from Raman spectroscopy in the same temper
atures and concentration ranges. The phosphate dimerization was found
to pay the most important role in the analysis of the macroscopic prop
erties. This analysis was performed by separating in the calculations
the contributions arising from the monomer and dimer phosphate species
.
