B. Kralikova et al., HIGHLY NON-STEADY-STATE REGIME OF STIMULATED BRILLOUIN-SCATTERING WITH AN IODINE LASER, Journal of the Optical Society of America. B, Optical physics, 11(9), 1994, pp. 1544-1548
The results achieved in a highly non-steady-state regime of stimulated
Brillouin scattering with an iodine laser beam are presented. The inp
ut energy dependencies of beam divergence and reflected energy were ob
tained in one-lens and two-lens systems of beam insertion. In both cas
es the correction of the optical distortion of a launched beam wave fr
ont is attainable only for input energies lower than twice that of the
threshold.
