Abstract
Replacing Y in YBa2Cu3O6+x by the larger ions Nd or La increases the c ritical oxygen content for the transition from antiferromagnetic to su perconducting behavior from x = 0.4 to 0.6. From the analysis of the N QR spectra of the Cu(1) sites at different x follows a change of the i nteraction in the oxygen pairs connected by a Cu(1) ion from attractiv e for Y to repulsive for La.
