Abstract
We have studied ternary solutions of rodlike and random coil polymers in a common solvent. In these solutions, the rods scatter weakly, and almost all scattering comes from the coil component. From light scatte ring measurements, we gained information about the thermodynamic and h ydrodynamic properties of the coil in rodlike polymer solutions.
