Abstract
The synergistic effect between calcium glycolate and organotin chlorid e which has been observed in the crosslinking process of poly(vinylchl oride) (PVC) is not at all effective for the thermal stabilization of PVC. The addition of zinc compounds to an organotin recipe shows a mod erate positive effect only for the initial coloration.
