Abstract
The photolysis of a low molecular weight secondary hydroperoxide (3-hy droperoxyhexane) at wavelength longer than 300 nm and in dodecane as s olvent has been investigated by ESR, FTIR, GC/MS and C-13-NMR. Results were compared with the photolytic decomposition of macromolecular sec ondary hydroperoxides present in a pre-oxidized polyethylene.
