Abstract
Studies on the lattice dynamics of alpha-Bi2O3 have been performed inc luding IR polarized reflectance spectra on single crystal, inelastic n eutron scattering and specific heat measurements. Dispersion parameter s and polarizations of IR-active phonons are presented and compared wi th neutron and specific heat data.
