Abstract
Wear measurement on superhard boron nitride and artificial diamond tur ning tools was performed using thin layer activation (TLA) technique. The samples were irradiated in two different geometries to improve the sensitivity of the method and change the region of wear to be investi gated. The most proper irradiation parameters and nuclear reactions we re investigated for both kind of tools.
