Abstract
A 4-year-old white boy with immune-mediated red cell aplasia and sever e anemia was given high intravenous doses of gamma-globulin. The thera py was well tolerated and followed by complete resolution of the inhib ition of erythropoiesis with no recurrence of disease. Eight months af ter discontinuation of treatment, the patient has a normal complete bl ood cell count.
