Mg. Kuriychuk et Mj. Fenton, ELECTRICAL ENERGY MANAGEMENT INITIATIVES AT THE AVENOR THUNDER-BAY AND DRYDEN MILLS, Pulp & paper Canada, 95(8), 1994, pp. 50-53
Electrical energy management goes beyond capital projects to include o
perating strategies and contract administration. A broad-based effort
is needed to uncover all the savings opportunities hidden among standa
rd, unquestioned operating practices. A multi-disciplinary task force
can be effective for raising awareness and channelling effort, but the
ultimate goal should be to internalize energy consciousness among emp
loyees at all organizational levels.
