Abstract
Experiences with the treatment and results of treatment of 96 patients with acute or chronic periareolar abscesses are presented. A mammilla ry sinus or fistula was demonstrable in virtually every instance. The key to preventing recurrence is demonstrating and either removing or u nroofing the sinus tract.
