Abstract
Complexation of UO2F2 by a series of bidentate organic ligands is stud ied. Complexes are obtained with 2,2'-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthrolin e of formula UO2F2.S and with methylenebis(diphenylphosphineoxide) (A) of formula UO2F2.2H2O.A. Suggestions are made about the structures of the complexes and the significance of steric factors in their formati on.
