Abstract
The Ostwald ripening mechanism has been studied using sedimentation fi eld-flow fractionation (SdFFF). It has been shown that significant par titioning between different sized droplets occurs for two component di sperse phase emulsions, when one of the components is virtually insolu ble in the continuous phase.
