Abstract
The protonated nitrosamide, NH3NO+, has been generated by chemical ion ization mass spectrometry. Although a direct search for this species i n ammonia flames has proved negative, fast proton transfer to major fl ame constituents is supported experimentally as well as by MO calculat ions.
