The differences of conductivity behavior of polymer composite systems
observed by us from that predicted by percolation theory are described
, from our point of view, by a simple model predicting the existence i
n such systems of two characteristic values: radius of the filler part
icle and radius of charge permeability in the polymer matrix. This ass
ertion predicts a range of cases, covering the spectrum from a solid-s
pheres problems to the problem of interpenetrating spheres of percolat
ion theory and was studied by means of a Monte-Carlo computer simulati
on. Detailed mechanisms, responsible for such pecularities in charge t
ransfer, are also discussed.
