RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL-COOPERATION IN THE THERMOPOWER EQUIPMENTACHIEVEMENT FIELD

The paper briefly describes the results acquired in the Romanian therm opower equipment industry as a result of cooperation with foreign comp anies specialized in such high-tech equipment manufacturing. Based on the cooperation with companies from the former Soviet Union, Babcock a nd Guttehoffnungshutte (GHH) Companies, Germany, GEC-Alsthom (English- French company), General Electric, U.S.A., and Ansaldo, Italy, steam b oilers and steam turbines were manufactured for a great number of powe r and industrial objectives in Romania. Due to the researches performe d by ICPET-SA, such thermopower equipments were also manufactured, bot h for Romanian objectives and for export, being another chapter of the international cooperation.
