Abstract
Preliminary results are summarized from experiments in which the chemi cal species of Fe have been determined in atmospheric aqueous and part iculate samples. Filtration, ultrafiltration, ion chromatography, extr action, and Mossbauer spectrometry have been used for their characteri zation. In nearly all experiments the values scattered broadly and thi s effect is discussed in terms of responsible parameters.
