Abstract
The knitting of filamentary high-modulus yarns on V-bed and circular m achines is reported in this paper. A theoretical study of the breaking of glass filaments during knitting is presented. The influence of yar n and knitting parameters on the knittability of high-modulus yarns is also discussed.
