Abstract
A flow spectrophotometric method for the preconcentration and determin ation of hydrogen peroxide is developed. It is based on the formation of the titanium(IV) peroxo complex and its retention on a minicolumn c ation exchanger, elution with sulphuric acid and spectrophotometric de tection at 410 nm. The calibration graph is linear over the range 4 X 10(-6)-6 x 10(-5) M. The 2 sigma detection limit is 1 x 10(-6) M (34 n g ml(-1) and the exchange capacity is 1.1 mmol H2O2 g(-1) dry weight.
