Abstract
We describe a demultiplexing scheme for fibre optic Bragg grating sens ors in which signal recovery is achieved by locking each sensor gratin g to a corresponding receiver grating. As a demonstration, the techniq ue is applied to strain and temperature sensing, achieving a resolutio n of 3.0 mu epsilon and 0.2 degrees C, respectively.
