AN ECONOMIC-ANALYSIS OF WILDLIFE HABITAT PRESERVATION IN ALBERTA

This paper provides a twofold focus on wildlife habitat enhancement an d development in Alberta: (1) from the user perspective based on measu res of willingness to pay for an incremental increase in wildlife habi tat; and (2) from the perspective of a private landowner, who possesse s certain attitudes and characteristics conducive to providing an incr emental increase in habitat under specified conditions that benefit th e user.
