Abstract
Triglycerides, cholesterol, total lipids and phospholipids levels were investigated in the serum of rats after cumulative whole body gamma i rradiation at doses from 2.5 to 10 Gy. Hyperlipidemia was observed aft er irradiation doses of 7.5 and 10 Gy. Different mechanisms were postu lated for the radiation induced changes in the levels of serum lipid.
