N. Ueda et al., REVIEW OF THE PRESENT STATUS OF CONSISTENT SCRAPE-OFF LAYER MODELING BY CODES, Contributions to Plasma Physics, 34(2-3), 1994, pp. 350-361
A review of the present status of 2-D fluid codes for the simulation o
f the boundary plasma in tokamaks has been given in this paper. The ma
jor physics issues contained are: (1) plasma and impurity transport mo
del, (2) neutral gas transport model, and (3) atomic/molecular data ba
se. Example results of the simulation of gaseous divertor in ITER (EDA
) are also shown to make the discussions clear.
