Abstract
Twenty patients with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) were studie d in regard to their ocular axial lengths by A-scan ultrasonography an d were compared with the results in 100 age-matched controls. The axia l lengths in eyes with CRVO were significantly smaller than those in c ontrol eyes, suggesting that a short axial length might be considered a risk factor in CRVO.
