Abstract
We report four patients with primary vascular leiomyosarcoma of the in ferior vena cava. Even after radical surgery the prognosis is serious because of local tumor recurrence and distant metastases. Although con trolled studies are difficult because of the small number of patients, a multimodal therapeutic approach needs to be developed.
