Abstract
The Marangoni motion of the liquid, induced by temperature differences , for a system in which the surface tension variation vs. temperature exhibits a minimum was considered. In connection with the sign of the surface tension difference it is also rendered evident the change of t he flow direction. Experimental rates of flow through horizontal canal s have been interpreted with a theory previously proposed by the autho rs.
