ELECTRONIC POLARIZABILITY OF ABC2 CHALCOPYRITE SEMICONDUCTORS

We extend the model for the calculation of electronic polarizability o f A(I)B(III)C2VI and A(II)B(IV)C2V chalcopyrite semiconductors using p lasma frequency formalism already employed for the calculation of othe r parameters. Polarizability has also been calculated using plasma fre quency data and the well known equation given by Clausius and Mossotti . Results of both the theories are compared. A fairly good agreement h as been obtained between them and the values reported by other workers .
