Abstract
The kinetics of the electroless nickel plating in acid baths has been investigated. The kinetic model of this reaction has been proposed. Th e formal reaction orders for nickel and hypophosphite ions have been d etermined and the empirical rate equation for the baths (for isotherma l conditions) has been developed.
